Acupuncture newbies

Over the holidays I had fun volunteering at the Woodford Folk Festival, providing donation-based acupuncture treatments with the support of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS). It was a HUGE success! Myself and the two other registered acupuncturists had non-stop back-to-back clients from morning to night for all six days of the festival.

Some of conditions I treated in our make-shift clinic:

• Back pain
• Plantar fasciitis
• Post-surgical shoulder pain
• Neck pain
• Fatigue
• Headache
• Digestive upset

Many of the clients were already getting acupuncture regularly and came to us for a top-up but A LOT were total newbies! Many had been curious about acupuncture for a long time and happily took the opportunity to get their first treatment at Woodford ✌️☮️

In the video you can hear the first-time acupuncture client comment “it's not scary at all" and "I was so nervous" as I was removing her needles 😆 She's now an acupuncture convert! 🙌
