Make this cycle your best.
We understand that in vitro fertilisation (IVF) can be a big investment — both financially and emotionally.
Using techniques from traditional medicine and the latest research from reproductive endocrinology, Bribie Acupuncture will work with you to get you ready for your most successful cycle. We will coordinate your treatment program around your IVF cycle schedule, and make it easy to get the care you need to complement your doctor’s or reproductive endocrinologist's treatments.
We recommend commencing treatment at least three months (or as soon as possible) prior to the start of your IVF cycle to get yourself to optimal health and prepare for your retrieval and transfer dates. Egg quality and quantity, lining thickness, and sperm quality and quantity are responsive to interventions, including acupuncture, nutrition, herbal supplements, and lifestyle changes.
Often times we see clients for the first time after they have already started or are about to start an IVF cycle; it is not too late to incorporate acupuncture, nutrition, and lifestyle changes to benefit your outcome.
In addition to your regular appointments as part of your treatment program, specific acupuncture treatments will be scheduled around key dates including prior to egg retrieval, prior to semen collection, prior to embryo transfer, and immediately after embryo transfer.
Studies have demonstrated that acupuncture and Chinese Medicine can dramatically improve IVF outcomes. See our Research page for more details.
